APON FEED supplies floating fish feed across every district of Tripura, from our regional office in Agartala. Six grades cover the whole production cycle, so a pond can stay on one feed from hatchery through to harvest.
Our formulations were developed with Indian aquaculture in mind, and particularly for the species farmed across this state — Pabda, Tengra, Sing, Katla, Rohu and Tilapia. Pellet sizes are matched to the mouth size of each stage, and every grade except the hatchery mash is an extruded floating pellet, so feeding is visible and the ration can be controlled rather than guessed.
The whole site, including this page, is published in Bengali as well as Assamese and English — because most of Tripura reads Bengali, and feed decisions are easier to make in the language you think in.
Tripura produced 95,144.50 tonnes of fish in 2025–26, up from 89,224.40 the year before — a rise of about 6.6% in twelve months. And fish markets in Agartala are still being supplied from Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and Assam.
Those two facts together are the reason this is a good state to be farming fish in. Demand is being met from outside because local production has not caught up with it yet. A pond stocked here has somewhere to sell.
There is money behind it too. ₹8,139.77 lakh went out under PMMSY in 2024–25, reaching 18,912 farmers and stakeholders across ponds, hatcheries, cage culture and biofloc. If you have never applied for anything, your district fisheries office is where to start.
Where we supply
We supply across all of them. Where a subdivision does not yet have a dealer, we deliver from Agartala and are actively looking for a partner there — so if you are the one who should be stocking it, tell us.

By species
Each of these has its own page: what it eats, what it weighs at harvest, and which of the six grades its crop actually uses. Pabda, Tengra and Singhi finish inside the 2 mm band; the carps and tilapia run to 3 mm.
Common questions
Yes — we supply across all eight districts and 23 subdivisions from the Agartala office. Send us your location and monthly requirement and we will tell you whether it comes through a local dealer or direct from Agartala.
Mash at hatchery, Aqua Plus through the nursery, Aqua Shakti across the fingerling stages, Aqua Pro at grower and Aqua Grow to table size. If your pond sits between two stages, send the details and we will advise rather than guess.
Yes. The range was developed with these species in mind, along with Sing, Katla, Rohu and Tilapia. Pabda, Tengra and Sing harvest at 25–100 g, so those crops run mash through 2 mm and stop short of the 3 mm grade, which is sized for fish above 100 g.
Check the dealer locator — it lists all 23 subdivisions and says whether each has a dealer, has one being appointed, or is supplied direct. Where there is no dealer yet, call the Agartala office on +91 6909027336 and we will arrange delivery to your area.
We are appointing dealers across Tripura with defined territories. Send your business details through the dealer form and we will discuss your area and expected volume.
